If you're a PC gamer diving into the world of Call of Duty, especially with the upcoming launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 in 2025, you've likely encountered requirements for TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. These hardware-based security features are now essential for a fair and cheat-free experience, integrated with the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat system. Starting from Season 05 in August 2025, they've become mandatory for newer titles to prevent low-level exploits and ensure everyone plays on a level field.

As seen in this video on the official Call of Duty channel, the beta dates have been announced for Modern Warfare 4. The early access will start on all platforms (except for Nintendo Switch 2) the 21st of August up to the 25th, and the open beta (including the Switch 2) will be from the 28th of August till the 1st of September.
